The Scottsboro Wildcats entered their game with Guntersville having dropped their previous two games and faced starting the region campaign one and two as they welcomed the fourth ranked team in Class 5A.

Scottsboro Head Coach Cris Bell and company had other plans as they put together a fantastic game plan and exectued said game plan to perfection knocking off Guntersville 17-14. 

The win over the WIldcats helped them earn the 97.7 ESPN The Zone/Bryant Bank Team of the Week. 

Scottsboro followed up that win over Guntersville with a region win over Sardis helping them improve to 3-1 in Class 5A Region 7.
