On June 19th at 6:00PM, at the Mars Music Hall in downtown Huntsville, 97.7 ESPN the Zone will present the inaugural Woody Anderson Ford Rocket City Awards presented by the Huntsville Sports Commission.
This event is designed to highlight and celebrate the achievements of local teams, coaches and athletes from the recently completed school year.
Awards will be presented to the Area’s High School and College Teams of the Year, Coaches of the Year and Athletes of the Year, in both the Men’s and Woman’s categories. The College and Professional Athletes of the Year, from the area,
will also be awarded, as will the Billy Neighbors Lifetime Achievement Award. Nominees in all categories will be honored as well, with a video presentation.
