The Drive with Wes Neighbors and Steve Moulton

WEEKDAYS 5PM-7PM

Make sure to join Wes Neighbors and Steve Moulton each weekday as they host the longest running daily sports talk program in North Alabama. The duo have been entertaining sports fans during their drive home since 2013 and discuss a wide variety of sports topics each weekday.

Wes was recruited by legendary Alabama Head Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant in his last recruiting class as Head Coach of the Crimson Tide, (his father the late Billy Neighbors who was enshrined  into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003 was in the “Bears” first recruiting class at Alabama), stared for the Crimson Tide from 1982-1986, under head coach Ray Perkins, garnered All-Conference and All American honors during his time in a Tide Uniform, while collecting the Jacob’s blocking trophy for best blocker in the SEC for the 1986 season.

The Houston Oilers and Head Coach Jerry Glanville would select Neighbors in the 9th round of the 1986 NFL Draft, but an injury would shorten his NFL Career. Wes still calls Huntsville home and is still very close to the Alabama Football program.

Steve is no stranger to the airwaves in the Tennessee Valley as he has been the voice behind the Microphone here at the Zone since it opened it’s doors back in 2009. He’s been the long time voice of the UAH Chargers calling UAH Basketball games since 2001 and you can hear him call Huntsville Havoc Hockey games during the winter months as well.

A native of Tucker, Georgia Steve worked for the University of Georgia Communications Department with Bulldog Radio while getting the chance to work closely with radio legend Larry Munson.

During his time with The Zone, Steve has been awarded the Alabama Broadcasters Association Broadcaster of the year award six times.
